Nehama Rogozen is a senior Government & Politics major with minors in Philosophy and Leadership Studies, as well as a graduate of the CIVICUS Living-Learning program.

Nehama is very involved on campus, serving as the president of Tzedek Hillel (a social justice and community service group), a member of the University Sustainability Council Student Advisory Subcommittee, and a member of the Committee to Unite Women Leaders. In the past, she served as a student representative on the University Senate CORE Committee, and on the board of three different clubs at Hillel.

Nehama spent this past summer working in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. Last semester she interned on Capitol Hill in Senator Sherrod Brown's office. She spent the summer of 2008 on American Jewish World Service's Volunteer Summer program, where she built a school for former child laborers in rural southeast India.

Nehama has a wide variety of interests, ranging from international development to vegetarian cuisine, and is very excited to be blogging for TerpImpact.
